Key Responsibilities
-
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment within food and dairy manufacturing environments
-
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repairs to support production and safety goals
-
Troubleshoot and repair vacuum pumps, high‑pressure boilers, and glycol‑based refrigeration systems
-
Read and interpret P&ID drawings and electrical schematics
-
Diagnose and resolve issues with digital/analog instrumentation and 24VDC control circuits
-
Apply PLC knowledge to interpret control logic for troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
-
2+ years of food manufacturing experience (applications without this will not be considered)
-
Dairy background preferred
-
Multi‑skilled maintenance technician with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude
-
Proficient in troubleshooting up to 480V motors and pumps
-
Experience with vacuum pump maintenance and troubleshooting
-
Boiler and refrigeration background (high‑pressure boilers, glycol‑based systems)

Ability to read P&ID drawings

Skilled with 24VDC control circuits, electrical drawings, and test equipment
-
PLC knowledge, including interpreting control logic for troubleshooting

Valid driver’s license

Willingness to travel 100%
Preferred Skills

Experience with wastewater treatment systems maintenance

Basic knowledge of PC‑based equipment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong verbal, written, and radio communication skills

Detail‑oriented with ability to multitask in fast‑paced environments
