Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Rate: $90,000 — $100,000 depending on experience
Performance bonus: 5%
Type of Facility: Union Dairy Plant (Milk)
- 72K Sq Ft underroof
- 5 filler lines. 1 Million gallons per week, 70 trucks per day.

Direct reports: will lead team of 3-5 technicians
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Shift Makeup:
- Hours: 11pm-730am (must be open to flexibility if needing to come in earlier or stay later)

On Call: Yes-most of the time can be on the weekend. Maintenance Manager also takes on "on call" tasks
Special Notes:
- Team is open to those that have related experience and have that "Lead" job title. The big MUST is someone who has leadership experience, leading a team, training, and good communication. Location is a Union plant (Union experience not required but a plus)
- Dairy Experience: Highly Preferred but not required.
- Food & Beverage experience: Highly preferred but not required.
- Related experience: Filling machines, air compressors, food manufacturing related experience/transferrable experience. Ammonia(Prefer), Steam(Prefer)
Must Have: Positive attitude and "work completion" mindset.
- Minimum five years manufacturing maintenance experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment within a manufacturing/processing facility.
- Minimum two years supervisory/management experience within a industrial manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge with the ability to repair, replace and troubleshoot pumps, conveyors, bearings, motors (3 phase, unwire and wire), VFD's, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and HMI.
- Ability to do preventative and corrective maintenance on – chains, sprockets, shafts, gear boxes.
- Ability to problem solve, operate machines when needed and train operators with "common faults."
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and repairing packaging (rotary labeler and boxer), pick and place and filler machines.
- Ability to perform consistent, accurate work with minimal direction and work successfully to supervise and lead a team.
- Available and willing to work any shift or overtime as required to meet production and operation schedules to include weekends and holidays as needed (days/swings/graveyard).
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Excellent communication and confident leadership skills
*Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
Nice to Have:
- SAP experience –highly preferred
- Injection molding experience/Blow mold facility
- Ammonia and boiler experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Tig Welding
